Does an online test give accurate results?
It uses the same standard formula as offline tests: five correct characters count as one word and errors are excluded from WPM. A stable keyboard matters more than the software.
Can I check my typing speed on a phone?
You can, but phone results are not comparable to a physical keyboard. Use a laptop or desktop keyboard when you want a score you can quote.
